Hey, the address for this blog is “blue quaker”, right? Well in actuality a quaker is a type of small Brazilian parrot, also known as a monk parakeet. What can I say, I’m a big quaker fan, and a big parrot fan in general. In fact, when I need to lighten up, I go over to youtube and watch all the funny parrot videos I can find. I think watching funny videos of cute parrots can be beneficial to everyone. So, at no cost to you, the reader, I am providing you with a portal of a whole variety of my favourite parrot vids, conveniently organized by species. You can thank me after you have viewed at least some of them.

I apologise for the scripting errors–sometimes even wordpress has me stumped. Man, do I hate all these spaces though.

    Thank-you very much for that!

  2. Hi Eric,
Why no Quaker videos so far? I’m on the Quaker Parakeet Society list serve and I know that there are several youtube clips of Quakers.

Also, are you interested in the memorials to Alex, the famous African grey parrot who died in September? http://alexfoundation.org/

    Also http://www.viewsource.com/alex
There are several links here to Alex clips that are really amazing.

  3. I acknowledge the lack of Quaker vids–save for the very interesting ones to be found at brooklynparrots.com. I’m constantly going to fill in this blog entry as I find more cute parrot vids.

  4. Hey great links, you should add some vasa parrot youtubes videos!!! They can be hard to find since not many people have vasa parrots, but I do and sadly no videos.
